I bought these only because I needed something that let me talk while working, but still keep my hands free. I have a need to work on equipment while talking to various companies tech support lines. While a speakerphone does allow me to hear them, it does not help them to hear me. I did not buy this for music, because my cheap wired headphones with a USB-C connector deliver better music quality due to those pesky laws of physics. (It should be illegal for phones to remove the 3.5mm headphone jack.) Despite how they look, for me they work just fine for calls. However, I can see their design would also cause them not to work for some people. Be prepared to return them if that is the case.Setting up the earpiece was relatively straightforward. Since I already have a Samsung phone, I decided on these. The Galaxy wearable app opened, and the process started. It included 3 difference sized earpieces, and the app said each one was not a good fit. So I stuck with the medium sized piece.By default noise cancellation was on. But this quickly gave me a terrible headache. 5 minutes with these in and noise cancellation going was enough to give me a headache for the rest of the day. I turned off noise cancellation the next day and I didn’t get a headache. I think I got motion sickness due to the noise cancellation.I haven’t tested the battery life. These headphones are for work, not music. I only did a limited test in music quality, again because my only concern is telephone conversations. For that, they work fine for me.Update: I finally tested the music for this. The quality was good enough, but clearly inferior to a cheap set of wired headphones. Also, the delay in bluetooth is evident in videos if you look close enough. The lack of physical buttons is a serious issue. While working outside, a gnat got in my ear and to get it out, I had to touch an earpiece which paused the music. I found myself frequently accidentally touching them; very aggravating. Although it was nice to be able to work outside a few feet away from my phone. Kept my phone from getting damaged. None of the advantages outweigh the advantages of a proper headphone jack, but it is a nice ALTERNATIVE in certain situations. Also, irreplaceable batteries should be very very illegal, even for tiny headphones like this.

So, I didn’t realize that the IOS Galaxy app would not pick up these buds. It’s my own fault for not doing more research but I just figured these types of devices would be fairly streamline.Pros:- If you like an emphasized bass, these are great!- The touch controls are easy to use- I’m an average sized woman and these buds fit my ears well. I don’t feel that they’ll easily slip out.- Even without the app, I can still use the outside noise mode. It just isn’t automatic since I can’t set it to that without the app.- They’re aesthetically pleasing to me- The noise reduction is nice.- The bluetooth range seems fairly good.Cons- As of now, the features are limited if you’re an IOS user.- For me, the mids and highs seem muted. I’m used to Sony and other headphones with more clarity in the mids and treble.- The built in mic is mediocre but does its job.Additional note: I bought mine refurbished + the black case shown in my photo was purchased separately. The buds came with the white charging case and a charging cable.

Ill start by saying i have Google Pixel Buds Pros and some $200.00 LG ear buds. Theyre both good but….Id take these Galaxy buds2 pro over those two. These are lighter, sound better than the other two with my samsung phone. These stay in my ear better than the two.Audio: The audio is pretty stellar in both the Galaxy Buds2 pro and the Pixel buds pro but the galaxy buds2 pro beat the pixel buds.Fit: the pixel buds are too big and constantly falling out of my ears. The galaxy buds fit pretty damn goodTouch control: The only thing the pixel buds have over these are the swipe volume which adds an extra function/layer of touch control but its not a deal breaker.ANC: I love the voice detection switch when you have the ANC on.Galaxy Buds2 Pros for the win

i love samsung, i have samsung everything, i had a bad experience with the watch not syncing to my phone and then i had the buds pro, at first when noise cancelling was on someone could literally talk and i would not hear a thing, zip nothing, then it basically quit working and i had better noise control with noise canceling turned off. so then comes the buds pro 2. i had high hopes for the noise canceling, i expected it to be like the ones before but last, the noise canceling ended up being just ok, it was better than the pro (after the noise canceling quit working) but i still get some little annoying noises that makes its way through.

These headphones are awesome! Longtime Samsung user, I had a set of galaxy buds+ before these and I was forced to upgrade because I dropped one and it broke (after close to 2 years of use). The sound quality of these new buds 2 pro is incredible, phone call quality has improved a ton since my old model, they are comfortable to wear, the battery is great and it works seamlessly with my Galaxy, as you would expect. The noise canceling is very impressive as well. I can mow my yard and hear basically nothing but my music. Touch controls are great and can be re-mapped very easily using the Galaxy Wearables app. I like using a widget on my home screen to easily switch between noise cancelation and ambient sound as well as block the touches when I’m wearing something over my ears.If I had one issue (which really isn’t an issue), it’s that the battery life on these isn’t as much as my buds+. But, that’s to be as expected because I was used to the battery on the buds+ that was built to carry a large battery capacity. With the buds 2 pros – expect 4-8 hours on a full charge, depending on your volume, and expect roughly 3-4 recharges from the case.I would buy these again and again, great product!
