Back in 1981 I bought headphones from this manufacturer. They were VERY esspensiff. They were not my favorite at the time. I was young. I liked headphones that would go ahead and let you cause hearing damage. (Judas Priest, okay?) The name was all that was important. Audiophile snobs said so! But all the hype though! Still made in West Germany! ha ha. I think maybe they are the same thing. Only a tenth the price.

I’m not an audiophile, but overall, I’m very pleased with the audio and build quality here. I primarily use these for gaming and they deliver what feels like a balanced experience. Music is clear, in game effects are good and punchy, and this is all without excessive bass, which is typically what lower end headphones would do instead of truly decent or even good audio. My only real gripe is that the earpieces could stand to be a bit bigger. They sit comfortably on my ears, but I personally prefer headphones like this to cover my ears. Overall, you could do much worse at this price point or higher.

SOUND – For the price, these headphones sound fantastic. I am able to pick up on bass in movies and TV shows that I didn’t previously know existed. I have no complaints about the sound, and their audio quality is such that I am very happy with my purchase.COMFORT/FIT – These headphones fit in a strange manner. As other reviewers have mentioned, they are a strange in-between size of over-ear and on-ear. I have a larger head, and I find that I can manage my way into fitting the cups over my ears with a bit of maneuvering. These headphones may cause ear pain after a few hours of wear when you first get them. I found that after this period of 2-3 weeks, I am now able to wear them for as long as I want (upwards of 8-10 hours straight).NOISE – Passive noise cancellation on these headphones is good for the price given you manage to wear them over-ear.

I replaced my Sennheiser HD598 (had them since 2015) with this pair of cans.Although the bass is not strong, electronic and industrial music sounds great.I have had them for one day now and I think they will serve me for years to come.

Honestly the best headphones I’ve ever had for under $250.

Intro: Amazon said they’ll tell me a joke if I review more products I bought I really wanted to review these headphones as I’ve been genuinely pleased with my experience thus far. Let’s commence forth.Build Quality: When unboxing the headphones I didn’t think they were gonna fit as they looked small in both the ear cups and headband. But once I wore them, the headband adjusted nicely and the ear cups fit nice and snug (still comfortable), keep in mind my ears are pretty big lol so in my opinion it should fit most people. Unfortunately the headband is made of plastic but for price range I can’t complain especially considering the audio quality.Audio: Once I fired up these bad boys I was instantly impressed with the quality (not an audiophile though), compared to my Arctis 7s the audio sounded “fuller” and packed a bigger punch, so they earn a pass from me (unqualified but still my opinion). I also loaded up a couple of directional audio videos on YouTube and can confidently say the directional audio on the headphones are accurate and distinguishable. Conclusion: Great headphones for the price, takes a hit due to plastic headband but more than makes up for it in the audio. Would recommend to my friends if I had any.

Pros:The sound is great, the cable is detachable, and the other end is an L bend (which I love).Cons:Not great for larger heads (my fault for not checking sizes before buying) and the material on the underside of the headband sucks.
